Before you arrive
Book through the live timetable, wear comfortable training clothes and enclosed shoes, bring water and arrive around ten minutes early. That gives your coach time to learn your name, ask about your experience and explain the space.
You do not need to practise the workout beforehand. The session is coached from the beginning.
How the class normally works
A session generally includes a briefing, warm-up, movement preparation, the main workout and a cool-down or pack-up period. Your coach explains the intended outcome before you begin.
Ask questions whenever something is unclear. Understanding the movement matters more than copying the person beside you.
Scaling is normal
A scaled option is not a lesser workout. Coaches may change the load, range of motion, equipment, repetitions or pace so the session matches your current ability while preserving its purpose.
After class
It is normal to feel that you have worked, especially when movements are new. Hydrate, eat normally, sleep and allow recovery time. Sharp pain, dizziness or symptoms that concern you are reasons to stop and seek appropriate professional advice.
